Terms of Service — ResumeHire

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ResumeHire ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ResumeHire provides AI-powered candidate screening, scoring, and shortlist tools intended for hiring teams. Outputs are recommendations only — final hiring decisions remain with you. You are solely responsible for ensuring your hiring practices comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection laws.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. 14-day free trials convert into paid subscriptions automatically unless canceled before the trial ends. Cancel anytime from the billing portal — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload candidate data you don't have the right to process; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer the Service; (c) use the Service to discriminate against protected classes; (d) resell or sublicense access without our written consent.

5. Data and Privacy

We process candidate data on your behalf as a data processor. See our Privacy Policy for details. You retain ownership of all candidate data you upload. We retain it only as long as needed to provide the Service.

6. AI Output Disclaimer

AI screening scores are probabilistic and may be inaccurate or biased. They must not be the sole basis for hiring decisions. Always perform your own review and human judgment.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel anytime; we'll delete your data within 30 days of termination upon request.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeHire is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
